Gbemiscious Gbemi

Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki is the Minister of State Transportation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and former senator who was elected to represent the Kwara Central Senatorial district. Despite her subtle and charming looks, Gbemi is known for her doggedness. She wouldn’t collect any ‘settlement’ and she wouldn’t let anyone in her team do. When there is work to be done, she wouldn’t sleep until it’s done.

Having chaired several crucial committees at Senate and House of Representatives, Gbemi stepped on many toes because she wanted things done the right way. She says she is calmer, wiser and more patient; traits gotten from experience, but her core values haven’t changed. She has assured Transport sector stakeholders of positive changes.
