Customs Promotes 32 Officers At Seme-Krake Border Post

Thirty-two (32) junior officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) have been promoted at the Seme Customs Command.

These officers were decorated with new ranks yesterday by the Area Controller, Comptroller Mohammed Uba Garba.

According to a press release issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mr. Saidu Abdullahi, most of the officers were promoted from Customs Assistant I (CAI) to Assistant Inspector of Customs (AIC).

Addressing the newly decorated officers at the conference hall of the Seme-Krake Joint Border Post, Compt. Garba admonished them to see the development as an opportunity to ensure optimal performance in the discharge of their duties.

The Customs boss commended the officers for their contributions to the Service over the years, congratulating them while reiterating that the promotion calls for new level of professionalism and dedication.
