International Maritime Organization (IMO) has commended the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) for surpassing the benchmark set by IMO for the compliance level of the International Ships and Ports Facility Security (ISPS) Code. This finally marks something positive to be merry about at such a time when the agency has been plagued by apprehension and anxiety as to who the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) would indict next in the corrupt allegations of the former Director General, Patrick Akpobolokemi.
