In a bid to further guarantee the welfare of officers and men of the Nigerian Police force for a robust quality service delivery to the members of the public, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Solomon Arase has magnanimously set up a scholarship scheme for exceptional children of serving and deceased police officers, both at primary and secondary levels.
This gracious gesture is not only commendable but should serve as a point in the right direction for reforms and restructuring in government enforcement agencies like especially the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
