While the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) gatemen continue show ‘kpalakpalaprokototo’ to their visitors, the security operatives at the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) have introduced modern electronic state-of-the-art security screening exercise including biometrics such as; finger print and camera. You would also provide your phone number and email address and receive an email as soon as you complete the exercise.

Shippers’ Council security operatives also show high level of decency, human relations and courteousness.

Kpalakpalaprokototo means an uncultured behaviour; usually presumptuous, uncivil, disrespectful, unmannerly and ill-bred.
