The incessant falling off of trucks on the highways is a source of worry to Bears.
It has been discovered that most of the trucks that ply the port are rickety and worn out hence they cannot withstand the pressure of the containers they carry.
Sometimes, the trucks don’t have the hooks with which they are supposed to fasten the containers to the trucks thereby making it easy for the containers to fall off.
On Friday, last week, a truck headed for Apapa was seen almost falling off Eko Bridge, this has been a recurrent development and each time it happens, it tends to cause one damage or the other.
So, truck owners and drivers take appropriate measure and stop destroying our property.
