Guess who was caught sleeping on duty last week? It was the amiable Executive Director, Marine and Operations at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Dr. Sekonte Davies during a courtesy visit of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) executives.
Sekonte, a hard-working ED, got drowsy with NAGAFF’s myriad of challenges at the port, that he could not help but sleep off. Do you blame him? That was a second visit by NAGAFF to NPA in two weeks. He had received them on behalf of the MD the previous week with so much talk, talk in clear eyes. Sekonte was just tired of NAGAFF wahala! It was a political sleep! Don’t blame Seko!
