Awesome Anastasia

Mrs. Anastasia Gbem is the Legal Adviser to the Nigerian Airspace  Management Agency (NAMA). She is responsible for advising the Governing Board of Directors, management and staff on all legal matters involving the entire operations of the agency. Prior to this, she was the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

She has also played leading role resulting in the modernisation, development and adoption of national laws governing civil aviation activities in Nigeria. Particularly, the ratification of several international Air Law Instruments by Nigeria. She has served in several ICAO’s Legal Committee meetings and Diplomatic Conferences and was a member of the Drafting Committee on Cape Town Convention.  Anastasia is a life member of the Institute of Air and Space Law Association, Montreal, Canada, and Vice Chairperson, Aviation Committee of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association.
